Since the beginning, we have been committed to using the talents and culinary artistry of our local friends and neighbors for as many of toppings, and in-store items as possible. Check out some of the great local farmers, bakers, and vendors we feature in our shops and be sure to visit their own sites to see what else they’re cooking up.

Since 1902, the Dinstuhl Family has been making quality candies in Memphis for five generations. In addition to boxed chocolates, brittles, and fudge, Dinstuhl’s handcrafts chocolate guitars and records in honor of its most famous Memphis resident: Elvis Presley. They’ve even created a special hot fudge sauce especially for YoLo!

Starting as a family hobby, Bill and Joyce Hughes produce unfiltered, raw honey from their Tipton County bee colonies. The honey is hand spun from the honeycomb, preserving the beneficial enzymes and small pollen particles in a panoply of colors and flavors.

JONES ORCHARD

Millington, TN
Toppings: In-season Peaches and Strawberries
Jones Orchard is known for providing delectable, homegrown peaches to Memphis and the Mid-South for over six decades, but did you also know they grow some of the best strawberries, apples, and berries... just to name a few. Visit their roadside stand in Millington where you can find their delicious fruits in their many jams, jellies, and preserves.

Our Midtown partners-in-crime, The Bugg Ladies — Heather, sister Chelsea, and mother Valerie — have been creating some of Memphis’ most unique, hand-crafted baked goods for years. If you can't stop by the shop to try their out-of-this-world cupcakes you can find their treats in area stores like Whole Foods, Miss Cordelia’s and Otherlands Coffee Bar.

If you can’t visit their farm, you can find their fruits, vegetables, and other wares at Memphis-area farmers’ markets.

Mother and daughter team Melinda and Sarah Shoaf make all of their bread from freshly ground organic whole wheat flour, immediately baking their bread after grinding in order to retain precious vitamins and minerals usually lost in the baking process. Family recipes, such as Aunt Velma’s Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls and Sarah’s Cinnamon Buns, reflect a 30-year tradition devoted to baking the highest quality bread.

Turner Dairy has been supplying the Mid-South with fresh dairy and frozen dessert products for over 60 years.
